Sacramento Valley Storyteller Festival May 20th at the Dante Club!

Dear Friends,

Please join the Sacramento Storytellers Guild for our first SACRAMENTO VALLEY STORYTELLER FESTIVAL on Saturday, MAY 20 at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento. This is an in-person event only.            ***There is plenty of parking. 

We will have 3 highly acclaimed storytellers who will present workshops and performances, 4 regional storytellers, 1 spoken word artist, and an open mic for those wishing to share an up to 8 minute story. 

Admission is $25. 

***You can attend all the events or just come for a part of it and come and go as you please 

 

If interested in learning the art of storytelling come for the 2 workshops presented by our featured storytellers

***1:00-2:00 - Corey Rosen & Claire Hennessey:  “Your Story, Well Told”       

 

***2:15-3:15 - Willy Claflin:  “The Warthog and 

           the Valley  Girl:  Exploration

                     (and Celebration) of Voice          

To hear our 4 exceptional regional storytellers & 1 Spoken Word Artist:

***3:30-4:30 - Linda Kennedy; Tanner Feustel; Jean Green; CharRon Smith; Mark Berry

To sign up for an Open Mic spot and share your up to 8 minute story from any storytelling genre, sign up when checking in to the event.

***4:30-5:15 - Open Mic

Dinner Break:  5:15-6:45.  There are many nearby restaurants within walking distance or short drives.

***There will be an outstanding selection of donation prizes.

1.. 12 collections of 3 bottles of wine Value $ 75.00 ea --These prizes will be selected after each session during the day.

2.  1 Scribner Bend-Tour and Wine tasting for a group of 10 visitors Value $300.00-This prize will be selected at the end of the evening at 8:45

3.  1 Carvalho Family Winery - Tour and Wine tasting For group of 8 visitors Value $ 275.00-This prize will be selected at the end of the evening at 8:45. 

***Ticket Amounts 1 - $1.00 for Individual Tickets or 6 Tickets for $5 or 13 Tickets for $10.00 or  28 Tickets  for $20.00
