Frantic Stamper End of Month at Die Cut Divas

Frantic Stamper is our Sponsor for the month of November and this is the last day of the challenge, so please hop on over to Die Cut Divas for one last entry.

I know this Altenew stamp set is a layering set, but I wanted to use only the one stamp to color AND I colored the flowers yellow, NOT my favorite color in the world, but I was drawn to it for this card.

Supplies:
Altenew Clear stamps Dahlia Blossoms at Frantic Stamper
Piece meal panel is made with different size die-cuts from multiple companies, which I cut & keep in a baggie.

November Card Chain Challenge

I try to join the Card Chain Challenge every month because it is so much fun to send and receive hand made cards.  We have choices of the challenge option that we'd like to do and I wanted to do the Aperture or Window card.  I've used this beautiful Hero Arts die before, but I did something a bit different with this.  As I was going through my stash looking for papers, I discovered a beautiful card (front only) I had received from a non-card maker.  That became my window backing instead of making a card base from scratch.  I used 3 dies and glued them together.

Sketch Option

Theme Options: Animal with Hooves
(that's deer/camels/cows/goats etc or any other ungulates that take your fancy
Stars / Friendship

Product / Technique Options:

QuicKutz nesting scallop square dies - can't find these online but We R Memory Keepers has some that look exactly like these

One More Card for The Christmas Kickstart Christmas Challenge

I just didn't have time to get my card done for The Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, but I do have time to join the Christmas Kickstart Christmas right here.  You have to use an embossing folder and a stamp.  I embossed the cup in my first entry and love how the embossed cup looked.  Here I added some Nuvo drops to the cup and mad a pull tab card (my very FIRST).  The pull is a little off from the top, so I will really have to watch that for next time, but I think it works out great for the coffee cup.

The striped panel is double-sided and the arrow is from the back side of this panel.

I'm also going to join the Let's Squash It! challenge.

Card with the little lady pulled up out of the cup

A side close-up view for you.

Supplies:
Elizabeth Craft Designs Hot Chocolate die
Hefty Doodle Slimline Pull Tab
Rubbernecker Stamps Daisy stamp and die
Sizzix embossing folder
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss - Red Berry
Stamping Up paper

Flowers From Julia Spiri

World Wide Open Design Team challenge

You MUST be a DT on any Design Team in the World to be eligible to enter this Challenge ~ New exception rule, this challenge is now open to any of Julia Spiri Facebook Members, and you are not required to be on a DT.

I got to play around with flowers this month as a Guest Designer for DT World Wide challenge. Please know that I have taken poetic license with the flowers, the colors, the way they're colored, everything!

The challenge runs from November 15th through December 12th, Sydney Time Zone 7:00 a.m. or if you're in California, like me, that's on Thursday, September 14, 2:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight.

I wanted a faded out background so I took G00 and squiggled it all over the place, just random patterns and it seems to have worked for me.  I cut two of each word, glued the doubles together to make them stand out more.  As you can see, remember is not exactly matched up, but I still think it works well.  I've had a bout of Vertigo and it took me awhile to complete this project, so I only have one card for this month.  I so wanted to make a slimline card and had everything cut to make it, but coloring is taking much longer than usual on many things.

Supplies:
Julia Spiri Peony Bouquet
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
Copic markers
Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss - Caribbean Ocean and Woodland Green
Distress ink Cracked Pistachio
Vagabond die-cut machine

Have a Happy Thanksgiving if you're in the states.

Another Hot Chocolate Cup for you

I didn't get any time until this evening to work on another card.  It sometimes takes me a bit to find patterned paper to go with a project, but I knew I had something that would go with my cup and Hero Arts Elf from a couple years ago.  I do love stamps with matching dies.

Hero Arts Santa's Elves Stamp and Cut
Elizabeth Craft Designs Hot Chocolate dies
Elizabeth Craft Designs words (joy is one of the words) die
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle die

Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss - Simply White

I'll be joining in on a couple challenges with this card.

I'm Joining the Coffee Lovers BLog Hop, Better Late Thank Never!

It took me long enough and now I don't want to stop making cards.  I love these special times of the year and even though I don't drink coffee, I love hot chocolate. I did use a small card backing, but I love how it turned out.  I'm so happy to join The Coffee Lovers Blog Hop right here.

I glued the two die-cut cups papers together and put all the dies on a small card I had left over from cutting some slimline cards.  I'm really happy with this card and I may make a few more to send out as it was really super easy.

I thought I would show you how I usually color, first the skin tones, adding more depth as I go.

I also printed just the butterflies, adding them on top for depth.  I took a black multiliner and drew over the scrollwork on her face and chest.  I am happy with this coloring.  I hope you enjoy her too.
