Sentiment in my stash (happy birthday)
I'm entering the following challenges
On April 25th, a strange set of parameters came up on Craft Roulette.
Project: Card for an Influencer: A Mother (Mother's Day Card)
Colors: Dreamy Balloon colors-pinks, blues, red
Element: Craft(er)/Crafts(ers) Card is crafted by me
Random: Off Center - Sentiments are off-center
This card lays flat for mailing. I can write on the back of the Mother's Day panel. I used the last of some wonderful paper that I thought would work and I do love it. The card stands up because of the way it's folded.
Below is the whole card
Supply List:
Brass & Bliss Impossible Fold Die
Stampendous Happy Birthday (woodblock from years ago)
I don't remember where I bought the Dream die
Vagabond die cut machine
The challenge at Christmas Kickstart Challenge is
Positively Poinsettias
I decided to use unconventional colors so I turned to my Distress and Distress oxide inks. It really is stunning in real life. No coloring on this card, just distress inking. I used a Wink of Stella brush, using it on the poinsettia and the inside of the sentiment (the white inside part).
Supplies:
Birch Press Designs Splendid Poinsettias Contour Layers (new one based on this older die)
Altenew Layered Plaid Cover Die A
Altenew Layered Plaid Cover Die B
Birch Press Designs Warm Wishes
Candie Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron Distress Oxides & Wild Honey Distress inks
Glossy Accents on small red center
Wink of Stella Brush

Project: Sending Sunshine Card - Sun ray stencil making this sending a sunshine card
Colors: Spring - pink, green & yellow
Element: Rodent(s) beavers are rodents
Random: Shiny - used Glassy Accents on headlights & everything yellow on the car & made them shine.
I thought I would combine a Birthday with sending sunshine because I have a friend whose birthday is coming up soon and I think she'll love this. I think using pink for the ground and green for the Karma bus really made this cuter and fun.
Supplies:

Card Chain Challenge Reveal for March
It took me awhile to come up with an idea, but it finally hit me. I could do layers - oh yes, I CAN do layers. I took out the two Altenew die cuts I wanted to layer, then I took out some AI images I'd stamped and cut on my Scan N Cut a couple days before and colored the gals with Copics. I went looking for a friend die, FOUND IT and began putting my card together. I had a leftover postage card die cut to back the gals and lift them off the page. Poor gals, their legs are dangling.
Here are the challenges we could have picked. I picked layers. The supply list is at the bottom of the page.
"Anything Goes" April 1st to April 27.
You can use any image or project you have posted in March to enter Morgan's ArtWorld challenge.
