Say Hello to Hero Arts and Die Cut Diva's challenge which is to
Make A Shaker Card.
As you can see, I cut out the candles so the sequins would show through. I die cut the circles, taping two dies together to obtain just the circles 3 or 4 times on the peach paper. I also die cut the plastic top so I could fill it with sequins. I looked for a sentiment that would fit the card and continued it inside. I cut up the phrase "Sending Paper Hugs" to use on the front panel.

Lots of fun this weekend following the Parameters set by the wheel at
Craft Roulette.
Challenging myself with the parameters of
Card with Square(s) - postage collage die
Color - Bee garden - honey cone stencil with bright colors
Element - sunshine, bees & colors in a garden
Random: Use a Marker(s) - used Copic markers
I finished my card today for Craft Roulette and it turned out bright and cute. I received some die cut flowers from my partner in the Card Chain Challenge (who is also a team member on Die Cut Divas). A BIG thank you to the chatterboxes on Friday or I never would have thought of using the postage collage die cut for my base! I found some things on my desk, like the shed, flowers and bush (not a clean desk yet). I used the Honeycomb die to make a mask to sponge the Oxide dye through. I used a stencil to sponge the sun rays on one shape and just added stuff. Somehow, out of all of this, I find it cute, fun and uplifting.

Another Set of Categories to Work With
Project: HELLO
Colors: ROBUST
Element: WORKPLACE
Random: MIXED MEDIA
I'm not sure if an unknown chef is hitting one chef with a skillet, but it might be true!
There's a big "hello" and dark blue is a ROBUST color. Even chefs have tools of the workplace and I added a heart enamel dot, Nuvo drops, Wink of Stella and gold to the soup dish. The Silver Moondrops have a lot of glitter to them, just a bit different than Stickles. First time I've ever used this Nuvo product.

I didn't have a card for a friend whose pet had passed away, so when I received my order of dies, I wanted to put together a card with the rainbow bridge. I had some paper from an envelope with the crisscross pattern, so I stamped directly onto this paper with the "Big Post Card" wooden stamp, which is very old, but still occupies a spot in my heart and stamp drawer. LOL
I know this isn't the happy rainbow card, but I think we all have a friend who's wonderful animal friend has passed away.
Supplies:
Hero Arts Big Post Card (S5665) - years old, but a favorite
My Favorite Things Rainbow Bridge
My Favorite Things Pet Silhouettes Die-namics
Nuvo Crystal Drops Liquid Mercury & Gloss Ebony Black
Sentiment (already in my cut pile)

The sponsor for Die Cut Divas for April is Joy Clair Designs. You can find everything from clear and digital stamps to dies, stencils and paper. I've been creating with JOY!
The Theme is Tic Tac Toe. Be sure to join the fun at Die Cut Divas for a larger view of the Tic Tac Toe grid.
The Prize is three digital stamp sets.
I again chose the top Tic Tac Toe grid to work with. This time I made a mini-slimline card by just printing out the top part of the flower image. When I printed it, I really didn't know where I was going with this, but after die-cutting coloring and then filling in the bottom image border with pale green ink, I realized I should have used one of the sentiments in the digital set. Since I couldn't send it back through the printer again, I used an older stamp set to stamp a sentiment. The flowers have a lot of shimmer from the Nuvo glitter drops I used.
The April Challenge for Morgan's Artworld is "Anything Goes" from April 1st to April 26th.
