I thought these owls looked like they wanted to be Valentine love birds and after I had colored them, I put them down to check on a couple things and they were sitting on a die cut that was my first try and didn't work out.  I did toss that one, but those birds happened to be tossed onto this very same tree.  They looked like they belonged there, so here they are. Since I had to fit the tree die over a smaller die, I lost some of the trees, but I think it's perfect for this scene.

There are so many beautiful women in Julia's shop and this is just one of them.  I think you could dream up any occasion and she could fit the season.  I was first going for monochrome, but it went against the grain to do blue strawberries.  I hope you like her.  Happy Coloring!

I went with Friendship and ink (Copic markers).  I made my first Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer and believe me, I am all thumbs sometimes.  If I could put this together and make it work, you can.  I quite love it.  I don't know why I made it so complicated, but it's easy peasy.

It must be too hot or too cold for me.  January was all about spring for my choice of project and here I've created a snowman with a really funky background.  I used glossy paper for this one and almost threw it away because of the background, BUT, the more I looked at this, the more I actually like the background.  AND I am ahead of the Christmas card game at this point.

Play Time With Whimsy Stamps

TODAY, I have TWO cards for you.
 The challenge at Die Cut Divas this month is to use Never Before Used Stuff (NBUS) to enter our challenge for January.  Many of the sentiments on this card have never been inked.  I certainly was able to use some of the cutest gnomes out there on this card, though the gnomes themselves have been inked many times.

I am casing Linda's card of January 21st.  I loved it.
My Happy Birthday Message for my son is inside the card.
Obviously, I am enjoying this fun stamp.  The die is separate and cuts just the window out.  I couldn't find it lost in my papers for about a week.  I probably moved it without knowing a number of times.  LOL  I also think those Ostriches are so much fun!  I think he wants to eat that cake.
