Just a Little Ol' Birthday Card

I couldn't resist some stamps from Rubbernecker.  I rarely make birthday cards and all of a sudden I needed FIVE Birthday Cards for this month.  I'm afraid this balloon birthday stamp came too late to make a card with for this month.  When I received it, my first thought was a slimline card with one of those fabulous Rubberneck gals holding the balloons.  I found the perfect one (in my stash) and I love how this turned out.

After sponging the background with Oxide inks I sprinkled drops of water and dabbed them dry.  I stamped, die-cut the balloons and gal and colored them.  The images are popped up on foam tape with some enamel dots finishing off the card.

I am very happy that I purchased the coordinating dies for both gal and especially the balloons.  I'm sitting here pretty satisfied.

Supplies:
Cas-ual Friedays Stamps Pinked Slimline dies
Rubbernecker Birthday Balloons stamp and die
Rubbernecker Daniella stamp and die may be out of stock
Hero Arts Decor (enamel dots in blue)
Distress Oxides from bottom to top: Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron
Copic markers
Vagabond die cut machine
Foam tape
