Your Paper Coffee Cup Should Always Come With a Zarf

zarf is something that helps you hold a hot cup without burning your fingers.  Zarf is a peculiar looking word loaned from Arabic and originally denoted a metal holder for a drinking glass — which would be unwieldy to handle if it contained a hot beverage.

I know I'm just odd when it comes to words, but a zarf is a zarf.

I printed out a coffee digi from Hero Arts (no longer available) and colored the cup after setting the sentiment of "Take a Break" on top of the zarf  on the cup in Word.  I colored with Copic markers and free hand cut the cup out, outlined in black and found an old Hero Arts card that was sold in Target years back.  I think it looks well on that background and I believe I even used the stamp that came with the card package.

It's very simple, but I rather like it.

Supplies:
Hero Arts digital Caffeine Fix (no longer available at A2Z Scrapbooking which closed its doors October 31st, 2019
Copic markers
Hero Arts Stamp "Thinking of You" (Wood block stamp with card set)
No die-cutting (imagine that!)
Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss Ebony Black

A zarf would be nice as some of those paper cups get very hot. But I really want to say that I love your wonderful card design. Great job!
