Dies R Us Halloween For Me

I'm featuring a card for inspiration for the Die Cut Divas' challenge blog which is featuring a challenge involving an Autumn theme, which in the U.S. includes Halloween.   The sponsor is Dies R Us and I found this "Happy Holidays" die there.  The link to the die is in the Supplies section.

I'm really into Halloween this year and this is just the beginning.  I recently purchased some holiday stamps and dies.  I don't know why I wanted out of the sandbox into some spooky place, but that's where my mind went.

I turned two Hero Arts dies from Xmas to spooky with only the change of color to black.  Here, my friends, is the result of my spin into spooky. I photographed this card against the dry dry grasses of California.  I thought it would make it a bit spookier.

Supplies:
Hero Arts Holiday die at Dies R Us
Sizzix ABC (spooky)
Hero Arts Christmas Mice Combo (stamps & dies) at A2Z Scrapbooking
Old black & white striped note card cut in half for the spooky lined panel
Copic markes for the mouse
Vagabond die cut machine

Enjoy creating.

Die Cut Divas Has A House or Two for You

Yes, Die Cut Divas does have a Winter Theme going on, so after visiting with me, head on over to Die Cut Divas for some winter fun.  I had made this card and found that it is not available at Dies R Us anymore.  However, the Elizabeth Craft Designs new houses are and I will link them at the bottom in my supply list.

A Sled For You

I know it's only September and too soon for sledding, but I thought this would make some boy happy, maybe some older boy whose birthday was near winter and he received the key to the car.  Maybe?   Whichever, I thought a blue and yellow card was the combo for me.

I die-cut the sled parts and used floss for the reins for the sled.  I've pulled apart twine so it would fit in the holes too.  Whatever you decide to use, use something, because there is a greater impact and enjoyment of the finished sled with some kind of reins.

The Wearig of the Green

I've combined Dies R Us and Bugaboo Digi Stamps to create a card to celebrate St. Patty's Day coming up on the 17th.  My sample card for the Die Cut Divas challenge this month was a fun one.

I thought a little green beer wouldn't hurt anything.  I made this image a modern take using the cool grays instead of warming her up.  I think she's already warmed up with that beer.

A close-up of this darling below.

Supplies:
Bugaboo Digi Stamps JJ Calendar Months - March
Elizabeth Craft Designs Flourish with Flowers at Dies R Us
Memory Box Hello Script, but you could use the Poppy Stamps Fancy hello as well.
Copic markers (3 gray colors for the hair)

July Dreams

The tissue box behind the squares was grabbed off the shelf by me with future uses in mind.  I knew I was going to use it in card making, either as a tag or part of a card.  I love the colors and design.  This is one of my favorite cards for July.  It's going to someone special, not sure who, but obviously someone special.
