I really couldn't stop playing with the String Art Frame, as you can tell. You can create so many gorgeous cards and get a little creative too. I had a piece of alcohol inked paper and saw this piece as part of the earth in clouds and went with it. I mounted the String Art Frame on a navy panel, affixed a sentiment and it was done.
"Tone on tone coloring or layering, is a decorative technique that takes a single or a few colors and uses different saturation of that color(s) throughout the space. The result is a room that can be dramatically transformed just by lightening or darkening of that color."
My friend, Linda, sent me these String Art Corner and String Art Circle die-cuts and I had to absolutely use them NOW. In keeping with the Die Cut Divas' challenge of Tone on Tone, I used a sheet of alcohol inks in my stash and added both Birch Press Design die-cuts with a short sentiment in the middle of the circle to complete my card. I just added some pale green gems and that's all it needed.
My Haunted House
I watched a video by Jennifer McGuire on a Winter House Pop-Up Easel set and fell in love with the house. She showed how to turn a Winter House into a spring/summer house with flowers, but the first thing I wanted to do was create a Halloween House! I had a glitter paper pad with a bunch of colors and found a purple I thought would be perfect and it is! Finding things I wanted to put in the windows was a bit harder, but I was focused. I really LOVE how this turned out. I almost hate to give it away. I even used the snow because I thought using black glitter paper would be perfect for a scary house and it is. I know it's early for Halloween, but, maybe not. This is a pop-up easel card and the house is resting against a black stopper strip with BOO as a simple sentiment.

World Wide Open Design Team Challenge
I always try to join in the Card Chain Challenge (CCC) as it's so much fun to receive something in the mail! I chose "Things that Fly". I knew exactly what I wanted to use when I saw this option listed. I have never used the die before and it had been languishing with some other unused dies until this challenge. I wanted something bubbly for the sky - a look of airiness about it, so I chose this digital paper to use.
Below are all the options to complete the challenge, so you can see it's fairly simple to find an option that fits your style, stamps, dies...
