   THEME: WINDOW or APERTURE CARD

Don't you love that clear plastic sheet that has a rippled pattern on it? A friend had saved these flimsy clear sheets from some medical materials and gave them to me. Happy Day! I love it when I upcycle.

Santa was good to me last Christmas and brought me some wonderful dies. I do have a couple snow globe dies, but I really like the size and framing on this globe. I think this deer is going to be a favorite of mine as it dons the front of the card and another sits on a snowy hill inside the card.

When you don't know what to do with the front of the card, embossing can be the solution and I thought falling snow fit the ticket on this card.

I used Distress Oxides in Broken China, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans on the inside panel of the card, spritzed with water and popped the reindeer in the same position as the reindeer on the outside of the card with a couple small glue dots.    I still had a couple  snowbanks (also used on the outside of the card) and tucked the largest one just under the hooves.  It'll be a nice place to sign your name.

Supplies:
Poppy Stamps Dashing Reindeer (TWO reindeer - one inside & one outside)
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
Falling Snow embossing folder (unfortunately, some branded manufacturers do not put their names on embossing folders)
Distress Oxides - Broken China, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans
Thin plastic sheet from a friend's clear bandage partitions die-cut with a circle die
Copic marker BG10 for the front snowbanks
Vagabond die cut machine

Oh my goodness, Arlene - just love what you've done with that snowglobe as a window to the inside scene!! Gorgeous texture on the reindeer too!!
