Play Time With Whimsy Stamps

TODAY, I have TWO cards for you.
 The challenge at Die Cut Divas this month is to use Never Before Used Stuff (NBUS) to enter our challenge for January.  Many of the sentiments on this card have never been inked.  I certainly was able to use some of the cutest gnomes out there on this card, though the gnomes themselves have been inked many times.

I am casing Linda's card of January 21st.  I loved it.
My Happy Birthday Message for my son is inside the card.
Obviously, I am enjoying this fun stamp.  The die is separate and cuts just the window out.  I couldn't find it lost in my papers for about a week.  I probably moved it without knowing a number of times.  LOL  I also think those Ostriches are so much fun!  I think he wants to eat that cake.

I had to make something, just had to, to enter the Midas Touch Challenge at Christmas Kickstart Challenge.  After I colored the poinsettia with Copic markers, I added some Wink of Stella to the lighter leaves.  Thank you to one of my DTs from Die Cut Divas, I had this beautiful gold frame to work with.  I thought the sentiment was perfect.

My second card was made for a Craft Roulette challenge and I love how it turned out.  The parameters were:
Project: A card with two tags (check out the 2 tags on the presents)

Colors: Guest Choice - Happy colors (pink, blue, sunny yellow)
Element: Nail(s) 
Random: Outside the Line (snow outside the line on mail box)

I love how one set of stamps and dies made this challenge easier to fulfill the challenge.  This is definitely going to be in my Christmas card batch to give to a friend in December 2024.

December Card Chain Challenge Reveal

 Yes, it's time again for a Card Chain Challenge Reveal!

December is always a special month at Card Chain Challenge with a very special challenge.  Not the regular Tic Tac Toe... NO.  It's 
Tic-Tac-Tic-Tac-Toe!

I'm choosing the 2nd row down. 
Bloom, Bird, Banana color, Bling and Bokeh 

I chose a die set that has blooms as part of the design so I wouldn't have much trouble working a bird or flowers into the whole image.  I have to confess that I almost forgot the bird.
I purchased a wonderful pad of paper that is perfect for both the banana color and bokeh (the pleasing or aesthetic quality of out-of-focus blur in a photograph) in its pages, a two for one.  If you look at the sky through the flowers in the basket, I think the sky has an out of focus blur to it. I'm sticking with it even if you don't think so.

I worked with Growing Teddy 2 for a cheerful little scene.

I really liked using these two sentiments with this scene, especially the "just a little note" because the mouse has a little note he's holding up.  It just seems to fit so well.

2024 is Officially Here

 Now's the time to look through your presents you gave to yourself or received from someone who cares about you and select your Never Before Used Stuff (NBUS) to work with.  That's the challenge at Die Cut Divas this month, to use NBUS to enter our challenge for January.

I have been intrigued with this Comic Stamp for sometime and finally Santa gave it to me.  He is the only one I can blame for being able to use the stamp and die.  I must have been very good for Christmas.  He not only dropped the Comic stamp and matching die off, but also those funny looking ostriches.
