Card Chain Challenge Card for May to Deepal

Check out the Card Chain Challenge to see May's entries!

I made this card for Deepal and still cannot send it to her because the U.S. Post Office is not accepting cards going to her country at this time.

There were three themes I could use to make a card for my recipient.  I chose the one that had fruit associated with it.  And the fruit is the lemon or orange sticking out of the drink with a grape under the umbrella.  Not much fruit, but I really liked this digital image and after this pandemic, I'm sure everyone will be looking for a refreshing drink somewhere tropical.

Close-up below

Supplies:
Digital image from Doodle Pantry (it appears Doodle Pantry is closed)
Die Cut Leaves from Cindy Chiu
Bird from a file on Silhouette I had cut a year ago or more
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle dies
Spellbinders die-cut (the rounded square die)
Tissue Paper boxes used for dies (Spellbinders die-cut & Rectangle die-cut below the Spellbinders die-cut)
Copic markers RV81, RV83, RV85 some blues & a bit of light oranges.
Vagabond die cut machine

Love your take on the options, and yes, a cool, relaxing drink in the shade somewhere tropical would do us all the world of good! Thanks for playing at CCC, Arlene, Jo x

Lovely card Arlene. I'm looking forward to a tropical drink - not that it is the weather for it at the moment.

Lovely vibrant card, the drink image is great with the vine leaves and bird additions! Hope the postal system will allow it to get where it should be beofre too long!

Lovely card! I like how you put the multi-paneled background behind your stamped and die cut images....and then used those colors with your Copics.
I am new to CCC and am looking fwd to participating and getting acquainted with everyone!
