Hero Arts Tiger Lily and Infinity Dies

I made a tag to say hello, but then I wanted to experiment with colors, some were successful and some not so much.

First up is my hello tag.  With the tiger Lily stamp set, I like all the sentiments in this stamp set and I think they will be well used.  .  I also ordered the suggested ink cube pack, Desert Sun for stamping the flower.  I used Dandelion for the bottom stamp, Tangerine for the middle and Strawberry for the top stamp.

Order of stamping:
Lay the Spiral Stencil over the tag and sponge with Dandelion ink.
No masking because the same color ink is used on the bottom flower layer.
Stamp in order (stamping order on back of stamp set packaging.
Stamp sentiment.

You can use any stencil with the same color as the bottom layer of the flower without masking.

I die cut more tags to use as samples of different Distress Inks used to ink the Tiger Lily.  I wanted to use different inks to see which color combinations I might like to use in the future.
I'll start with a couple iffy combos and you never know if a background can save an image.

Hero Arts has featured the Tiger Lily in a video on July 10, 2018 here using different Hero Arts inks.  If you want this stamp, you should check out all my images (last two I fell in love with) as well as Yana's video at Hero Arts.

Check out the challenge at A2Z Scrapbooking.

The three inks listed below each tag photo are the distress inks
used in bottom to top order used for each tag. some of these are not as bad as they look at first glance.  A bit of work may be required, but I don't waste.

mustard seed, fossilized amber, ground espresso    tattered rose, wilted violet, dusty concord

worn lipstick, victorian velvet, ground espresso      tattered rose, victorian velvet, ground espresso

This is a bit messy, but I like the colors.  I think it's a good color match.

mustard seed, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon

worn lipstick, ripe persimmon, candied apple

My fingers made orange marks at the bottom of this card, but this is a decent color combo.
broken china,faded jeans, blueprint sketch

I decided to use white embossing on the last two tags for the top layer.  I think this turned out quite striking.

broken china, blueprint sketch, HA white embossing powder

ripe persimmon, candied apple, HA white embossing powder
