It's All About the Scarves

I had to use a new stamp and die set right away!

I'm not sure why I wanted these cute guys to be on clouds, but I bypassed the snow drifts for the clouds and I just think snowmen deserve to be on clouds.  I had this ECD fence on my table and decided to use it too.  I almost threw this piece away.  I did want to glue it on the inside of the card, but put the glue on the back of the fence by mistake and just went with it.  I think it turned out so cute, much cuter than it seems to show here.   I fussy cut them out because I put the matching dies in the wrong bundle and can't find them yet.  LOL  I had precut some holiday sentiments, so I'm not sure what die I used.

Lst Day of Die Cut Divas' June Challenge

I had seen this butterfly die/stamp set at my local stamp shop and (I LOVE BUTTERFLIES) had to get it.  The top card is very, very bright, isn't it?  I think, it's even too bright for me.

I found I couldn't live without purchasing some of this great paper.  I'm so excited to start my next cards.  I found new papers and then some of the paper KaiserCraft sent the Divas to play with.  I played and then I had to have it.  I love the blue wood-like paper in the back.  It's called Bohemian from the Boho Draams Collection.  

See the lower left of the photograph?  That's Passport from the "Just Landed Collection". The two brown and black papers are actually the back and front sides of the Passport papers.

I could make cards with this paper all day long.  Do you hear that song running through your head now?  I do... all day long all day long... ( I know it's "ALL NIGHT LONG, but we have artistic license here) 

Using a Kaisercraft paper panel here with just a couple stamps and a die from the stamp/die set Road Trip made this an easy card to put together.  The note card is not Kaisercraft, but I thought it went well with the "NOTES" panel.

Again I used a Kaisercraft paper panel.  Just a stamp and die from the stamp/die set Road Trip made this another easy card to put together. 

Here's another Kaisercraft paper panel here with just a stamp (now boarding) from the set Road Trip.  So easy to make this card with a cityscape that I didn't use on another project.  The cityscape is cut from a tissue box.  Never forget to up-cycle. I pop-dotted the die-cut on the sides off the main central panel.

My card, Favourite Places, is part of a 12"X12" paper panel that I fell in love with.  I cut many of the panels out and used them as a foundation of my stamping.   I started with the panel and stamped stamp/die set "Road Trip" onto the panel.  

 I've never given this statement a consideration, but it SOUNDS GREAT!  The main panel with the statement is from the 12"X12" paper panel I've fallen for.  The die cut and "Just GO" statement are from a stamp/die set called Road Trip.  

Again, the main panel on this card is from the 12"X12" paper panel which I used as a  foundation for my stamping.  Again I used the stamp/die cut from Road Trip.  Sentiments I stamped were "Wish you were here", "Just landed" and "We are here".

Die Cut Divas has a new challenge this month - ANYTHING GOES

The bluish woodgrain paper and the quote are from a new release by KaiserCraft and I am head over heels in love with them.

I just went a little crazy over the Kaisercraft paper.  My favorite card is made with some gorgeous blue gray wood grain cardstock, a fantastic quote and Triangles embossing folder.  The crocheted doily flower has been my elements box for years.  Not anymore. 

I love the Triangles embossing folder.  When I received this folder from our generous sponsor, Kaisercraft, I thought, ooh, this would be fantastic with any American Indian motif, but to my unexpected and delightful surprise, I found I wanted to use it again and again, JUST BECAUSE I liked it so much.  Distressing it a bit creates a lot of depth and unique looks to projects.  I used pumice stone here, very lightly on a pale blue note card.  

I thought this quote was quite apropos. No stamping at all.  What a change for me.
