Since the card needed to be a Fancy/Uneven Edge on at least  one of the Outside Edges of a Card, here's what I came up with. The "be merrry" tag on the outside edge of the card makes the edge  uneven.   I used these Poppy Stamps dies from Frantic Stamper.

I have used this particular die-cut several times, but never with a Sympathy motif.  With the black die cut image, it does feel like a sympathy card or with a Halloween sentiment and colors, you could create a scary scene.  You could cut out the inside and put ghosts and goblins under the trees.

The Creative Crafters in December

The Creative  Crafters starts a monthly challenge every 15th of the month and I've made a couple of Globe Easel cards as inspiration for this month. 

This challenge is always "Anything Goes".

I precut a lot of these easel type dies for the Globe and so all I have to do is select all the colors I want to work with.  Not all the die cuts really match up though.  Yes, that does make it more fun... maybe fun is not exactly the right word.  Here are 4 cards I put together for the holidays.  This globe card is big enough to do a lot with.  It really is too bad that it is no longer available at Poppy Stamps.

November Card Chain Challenge Reveal

 Time to Reveal the Card I made for the Card Chain Challenge.

I was tempted to use the color challenge of White, White & White, but just didn't have it in me, so I chose patterned paper and friendship.  I've used this die several times in the past month or so.  I have actually used patterned paper for both the top blue layer and and the bottom silver & pale lavender layer.  I did color the flowers with Copics and used Nuvo drops on the flowers and butterflies.  I really like how the leaves turned out.

A Craft Roulette Card Again

 Last Friday, I watched Craft Roulette and got some great ideas from the Chatter Boxes, a fun name for all the people giving interpretations and suggestions on the categories spit out by the Wheel.

Here's the Wheel's categories

It was so much fun putting this together and I do think this Santa is fun.

I  decided to cut around the figure of this fairy and I like the way this turned out.  I couldn't resist purple hair, really who could.  I remembered this pack of 6 X 6 paper pack and found the background I wanted.  I have no idea who the company is because it is not anywhere on the pack. I do rather like this.
