There's a New Challenge at Die Cut Divas

Dies R Us is Die Cut Divas' fabulous sponsor for July and it's Anything But A Card time.

I've made a notebook (I'm calling it a notebook for lack of a better name) in 2017 so I could keep track of my DT creations.  I never finished the inside of the front cover and decided to remedy that with a scene, totally made of die-cuts. The scene reminds me of a spring day out in the foothills.

A Little Birdie Told Me

June is Frantic Stamper month at Die Cut Divas - the challenge is animals or pets and animals or pets is loosely interpreted.  Have fun with birds, fish, mice, bears, some kind of animal or pet.

Frantic Stamper Inc.

Here's the pretty little Red Crazy Bird I colored and die cut for my Thank you to Frantic Stampers.

I thought I'd make a card that was a fun way to say "Get Well without the ordinary "get well" message.  This bird is a plump little guy and he's worth a bit of a laugh.

June CCC reveal

Time for me to reveal my card in the Card Chain Challenge.  I just purchased this die and this is my first creation.  I know this looks quick and easy, but it took me a week of die cutting a few of the dies in the kit, a few at a time because I wasn't sure where I was going with this.  I die cut two glasses in white paper and cut out the center of one.  I then die-cu the glass out of JudiKins plastic.  I colored or sponged the different die-cuts and arranged the little cuts inside the glass, glued the clear JudiKins plastic on top, then glued the cut out glass on top of that.  I had threaded the straw and umbrella through the glass hole in the top.

If you look closely, you can see the glare of the plastic glass in the close-ups.

Have fun.

I Don't Do Mornings

June is Frantic Stamper month at Die Cut Divas - the challenge is animals or pets and animals or pets is loosely interpreted.  Have fun with birds, fish, mice, bears, some kind of animal or pet.

Frantic Stamper Inc.

I stamped a bunch of different Crazy Birds and colored them in different colors, from purple to red and yellow to blue.  I thought this little guy would not be up for mornings and chose this sentiment.  Poor dear.  I know several people who feel this way.  hehehe

Time for the Digi Duel at A2Z Scrapbooking

It's time for the DIGI DUEL at A2Z Scrapbooking.  I never know what kind of a project my partner in crime may complete, so it's as much a surprise to me as to you.  Check it out.  Remember that this post has nothing to do with the challenge theme, but everything to do with the digi prize of the month.

I wanted to take advantage of the Travel Words included in this set to make a black and white card, but I see so many other uses for this phrases as borders, part of a page layout, anything your heart desires.  I added the glasses from the spring release set "In the Study" as a fun last line and a stamp from an older Hero Arts set and popped it up.  You can mix and match, just like that.

Sugartree Lemonade at A2Z Scrapbooking

I really like the latest release of Sugartree stamps.  You can choose the mini stamp set of jar and sentiment "You're sweeter than sweet tea" or add lots of other digital stamps to this cute iced jar with the full set of stamps and make lemonade..  I made my own background with the sweet jar, spread distress inks with a brush on the bottom panel and die cut.  Visit A2Z Scrapbooking to join the challenge.  My post at A2Z Scrapbooking is here.
