Red, White and Blue Celebrations

July 4th, Independence Day, is the National Day of the United States and is celebrated by fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals and fairs, picnics and concerts, baseball games and family reunions.  There are usually political speeches and ceremonies, and last, but not least, remembering those who have gone before.

Check out Die Cut Divas for today's post and be sure to see what challenge is up here.
The little girl on this card is celebrating too.  I think she turned out rather patriotic I like the way she turned out.  I keep thinking Bugaboo Digital Stamps made her just for me.

Just a little history:  Historians have long disputed whether Congress actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, even though Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin all later wrote that they had signed it on that day. Most historians have concluded that the Declaration was signed nearly a month after its adoption, on August 2, 1776, and not on July 4 as is commonly believed.

I hope you like this little gal and this post.
