Second Post of the Day - this one is the Hero Arts Scramble

Yes, it was Scramble time over at Hero Arts.  I've been busy with the granddaughter or out with friends or some busy thing (maybe sleeping?) which prevented me from playing.  I played today!

And I almost missed the scramble because I wasn't watching the clock.  I was putting away some die-cuts that I'd done late last night on my Cameo.  THEN, my phone went beep or some such noise and I remembered that I'd actually put it in my phone to remember... my new phone.  I'm with PCS Methro, which was bought out by T-Mobile and we have to switch out phones out for one that uses the T-Mobile network.  I upgraded and quite happy with my new phone.  I actually use the notes and the calendar.  SO, on to the cards.

I'm also entering this card in the A2Z Scrapbooking challenge.
This is a One of a Kind vard - my Father's Day card to my son.  I had die-cut a whole page of things on my Cameo Silhouette last night and was putting them away when I realized I could use this die-cut on the Scramble today.  This is my first card and I'm please with it.  I can't find the clear stamp set to tell you which message set the stamp set came from.  This was a great day to use my die, embossed the paper and make my card.  I'm ready!

Remember this tree?  This is Shari's Tree # 2

Now on Silhouette store under the Hero Arts Artists- Done with my Cameo.  I used some of the leftover Cling Dots on the stars and a circle.

I had cut the striped paper last night and had just put it in an envelope for future card making.   I used dry-embossing on the Label die-cut with a Cuttlebug folder.  And a little glitter never hurt anyone.

I will probably add a sentiment.

Had such a ton of fun.

An Apple a Day!

I couldn't resist these apples.  They were fairly easy to cut, outline with black marker, and then pop a glue dot on the apples, twigs and leaf.  I love the ability to size your images.  You can color yourself, but sometimes, like now, I didn't feel like coloring.  I did take a Copic marker (G40 to the edge of the Spell binders oval panel.  I have really enjoyed playing with the images of Doodle Pantry.

Happy Anniversary

I just purchased two Ombre Hero Arts ink pads from my LSS, The Stamp Art Shoppe in Roseville.  I picked Pool to Navy and Butter to Orange.  I decided I was in my blue age, so I chose the blue tones to work with.

I pulled some of my Hero Arts stamps and found a wood block stamp F465, Happy Anniversary which cost $6.60 from Stampers Corner.  You know how old that must be.  I inked up Zig Zag, CG422 with the Ombre ink pad and I do like it.  I inked up the two die cut feathers directly on the ink pad.

I'm please with it.

Flowers for a future Mother's Day!

Even the best of flowers have a few bugs.  I've got a head start for next year.  I had to hasten and do a quick Mother's Day card this year.  Now I've got it nailed for next year.

Choo Choo

It's Doodle Pantry month over at the Die Cut Divas something yummy to eat.  You can see I'm not going to eat this train, but I couldn't help but print it out and play with it.  Yes, the blocks are not centered, nor are they meant to be center... there, I put your mind at rest.  I thought the shapes called for square framing and no muss or fuss.  The pre-colored train is bright and cheery and I didn't want to add anything to alter the simplicity of the image, so no background noise, if you know what I mean.  I used a red velvet ribbon and oval panels for my sentiment.

I had to make room for the choo choo of the train whistle inside the card.

This was certainly a fun card to make and it fits my simple sit back and relax mood today.
Glad you stopped by.

A Little Bit of Everything

Cleaning my desk brought up a die-cut I had cut, but never used.  I figured it was an orange perched on the glass, so I found orange paper to insert into the holes in the orange piece to inlay it.  A piece of paper needed a place and it found its way to a rectangle panel..  The rest fell into place from left-overs.  The strawberry is a Hero Arts stamped and colored berry.  I needed a little more orange, so found a die to say "hello".

This was fun putting together.  It could be an invitation to have a party, celebrate anything or really, just to say HELLO.

Hope you like the card.  For some reason, this appeals to me.  Now, no slipping on orange peels.

Happy Mother's Day

This looked so yummy making a card, that I'm going to try a shake for Mother's Day.  I had such a great time using the Doodle Pantry digials that every time I look at the yummy cards, I will to eat or drink something off the card.  Scary!

Something Yummy to Eat

Doodle Pantry is the sponsor for Die Cut Divas for May, 2015.  I loved working on this card, just the right pops of color for me.

I  still put nickels in the candy machine on the boss's desk.  I just loved the colors of candies because you can use just about any color to trim, embellish or otherwise decorate this card.  I really think this image would appeal to all ages, young or old, male or female.

I hid the sentiment slightly under the netting as a sweet little surprise to the recipient.  I couldn't decide what to work on first from the selection of wonderful digital kits.  There are freebies and then again freebies with an order.  How can you beat that?   Hope you find this card sweet too.
