Supplies:Why did I say Craft Roulette strikes yet again? Do you see the challenges with this set of categories the wheel spit out? Tri-Fold cards are definitely out of my comfort zone, but I can make them with a twist of my arm. Sleigh Ride Colors means lots of white for me and the views would be lights in the windows, black shadows during the night or sun during the day and all manner of jackets and scarves. Now come the kickers - a joke and something out of proportion. Out of proportion sentiments fit in while something funny are the ostriches
(they must be out pulling the sleigh).

I hopped on making this card right away because I had the perfect die to use for "Postal"
I've been trying out my new Postage Collage die lately, so I almost didn't read past "postal", but I think I've combined Friendship with postal and maybe went a little "postal"
I kept this on my desk for several days because I just really loved the
Spring colors so much.

On Friday, March 29, the Wheel spun again and delivered the fatal blow.
Project: Joy Fold Card
Colors: Buggy Ride
Element: Stick(s) and Stone(s)
Random: Trim(s) or Trimming(s)
Ahhh, yeah, right... All I could think of was that saying: "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me".
Today, I finally decided to just go with the flow. I did make a Joy Fold Card. On the front of the card are sticks & stones and trim. Stones are the stone tiles (green crosses on white) while the two sticks sticking out on the left side are the sticks. The branch is ticked behind the Ribbon Trim on the vertical. A buggy ride would pass under the sky and pass by a car.
I'm entering the Christmas Kickstart Challenge - Get Your Grinch On - so I'm using green in my project. I am thinking ahead to Holiday gifts and making something different for me. I had a treat bag from some Christmas paper that I may still have had in my stash if not for making this treat bag.
Yes, I played yet again with what the Wheel threw at us. The Wheel could have been cruel, but it was kind this week.
39th submission Project: A2 card and that's what this card is Colors: Ice Cream Store - I could eat the umbrella, especially pistachio ice cream Element: Tasty or Tastes - Pastries & Tea for me Random: Add a Banner - and I did - maybe short but it's there. LOL

Kraft Roulette.
The turn of the wheel came to rest on
Project: Include an envelope
Colors: Party
Element: Crown
Random: 3 strips of paper
I just got this in at almost the last minute because I was working on some other projects. I have a photo list of all my stamps, dies and stencils saved under the manufacturer/seller names. Every time I order something, I put it and a photo on my list and I love being able to SEE what's in the stamp/die set, not just what the name of it is. So very helpful.
I'd forgotten I had this envelope full of flowers that I had colored, but never used and it was obviously perfect for the challenge. I hit project, colors and crown (the top or highest part of something) just with this one set. Then I looked up and the Altenew die stared me in the face challenging me to use it, again, never used before, wait, never even die-cut before. The die has so many strips that I couldn't help but use the die. I think the peach color makes it feel soft and warm.
Supplies:
Altenew Letter Flowers Bundle (stamps & dies)
My Favorite Things Quilt Square Cover-up Die
Copic markers
Vagabond die cut machine
I am entering the following challenges:
Worldwide Crafters and Colorists.
Craft Roulette
February 16, 2024 Parameters
Project: 5"X7" card
Colors: Formal & Informal:
(Black on wheels & Gem = formal. Girl on bike = informal.)
Element: Warm colors in background
Random: Crisscross - hashmarks on baskets on bike
I cut two sets of the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die, then cut off the end of one and added it to this 5 X 7 inch card to extend the background. The aquamarine gem in the girls hair was in a bag of gems, no idea what brand they are.
I used the Waffle Flower shader brushes (double ended) and found I really like these for getting into small spaces. They feel so soft and I love them.
I couldn't post this until I was sure my friend had received it.
