Let's Have a Toast Wth all the Drinky Mice

I needed a quick card to give a friend for a birthday.  I needed a gift card for her.  I had some pre-cut card panels and set about making my card.   The mice are actually on the panel for the front of the card.  I folded it this way so you could actually see both sides fairly well.

This is the close-up so you could see those funny mice.

For my CCC partner

I just purchased a Stampin' Up stamp set and had to use it.  What fun images.  The woman and the smudge of red are both from my new stamp set. The "Friends" stamp is from an Art Impressions stamp set.  I thought they fit wonderfully together.  I hope my exchange partner enjoys it too.

I love working with these fun digitals

I couldn't help myself and colored in two wonderful digital stamps just so I could play.  It's the hard life of a Diva, I'm telling you.  It's deciding what to color, how to color, I just have to color and I just can't stop coloring.  Yep, I know you feel for me. :

I loved this cute little bear with his friends, kind of like hanging out at the pool, eh?

My Notebook has a Butterfly Stencil

Stenciling is this month's challenge.  I made my own stencil here.
stencil-a2z-logo-challenge
The second page to my notebook (still not sure what I'm calling it) has a patterned base and two pockets.  On top of the top layer, I stamped different words and phrases over a homemade stenciled background, while on the base I used a couple of the images in my home made stencil   If you don't have a stencil you want to use, you can make one to your liking by using your dies.   The first image is my page without the tabbed notes inserted in the pockets.  The top pocket is raised.

I added my tabbed notc cards into the pockets so I know what I've worked on and ideas for the future.

Hero Arts Scramble today - YEAH

I think my phone turned out super.  Why?  Because with the Misty, I can stamp over and over until I get the coverage I want, a nice deep black.  I think I would have used this set more if I had the Misti then.

The challenge, for me, was not that easy.

Rules:
 Three of something
 Light blue or blue/green color
Daffodils (any color) or a yellow flower

The flower is an abstract flower and I thought this would be a cool card for a teenager.

To get an aquamarine color, I put stamp to ink pad (chipped Sapphire first and then Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio)  It's a really unique color.  What the heck, if you don't try something, you'll never know if it works.

Morgan's Artworld Sian Goddess 45

I thought this image perfect for the blustery winds of March, up here in the Northern Hemisphere.   I also thought she looked thoughtful and so I chose the sentiment for this reason.  I've put some sequins in a couple places, plus a sequined moon over the tree.

Di's Adorable Mice

Di's Digi Downloads

Challenge is

"For the Love of Animals"

I made this doughnut card as a Happy Birthday card for my boss at work.  Whenever I hold a meeting, he asks, "Are you bringing donuts"?  He's the donut champ.  I couldn't pass this colored digital by and I saved my coloring except for the BG0000 Copic marker showing here and there.  I think my boss is the one in a coma.  hahaha

Hero Arts Butterfly Fancy Stencil

A2Z Scrapbooking has a great challenge to enter - stenciling.  You can use your stencils to create depth and and shape.

If you don't have a stencil, you can create your own, which is what I've done here.  I am not exactly creating a journal, nor a notebook or a book of images or designs.  I'm not sure yet, what it will end up being, but one has to make a start at least.  I needed something to keep track of challenges and designs as well as being fun.   I made a page to fit a grunge book which I am painting white.  This will be a page inside the book.  I chose a patterned paper and used a stencil of various sized dots, then die cut the butterfly to use it as a stencil.  I sponged white Unicorn ink into the holes and along the border of the butterfly stencil.   I would not have used the white inked butterfly except that it brought out the outlines of inked butterfly image that I stenciled.

I added some words and small gems, white reinforcements and a digital image for color.

Die Cut Divas New Challenge - March 2017

TheAwesome Sponsor for March 2017 at Die Cut Divas is Di's Digi Stamps

This is the terrific theme: For the Love of Animals

I made a tag. I couldn't get over the wonderful images and I even purchased come colored images too. I found this too delightful and had to have it in both colored and uncolored format. This is the pre-colored image. Isn't it great?

I don't live in the snow, but loved this old fashioned mail box and colored digi from Di's digi Stamps. Even though there's rarely snow in the Sacramento area, my friend does live in snow country. The print-out was so rich in color and I would have chosen similar colors, so I did tint the snow with Copic marker BG0000. This is a marvelous color to give you an icy tint to things.
