I couldn't resist some stamps from Rubbernecker. I rarely make birthday cards and all of a sudden I needed FIVE Birthday Cards for this month. I'm afraid this balloon birthday stamp came too late to make a card with for this month. When I received it, my first thought was a slimline card with one of those fabulous Rubberneck gals holding the balloons. I found the perfect one (in my stash) and I love how this turned out.
After sponging the background with Oxide inks I sprinkled drops of water and dabbed them dry. I stamped, die-cut the balloons and gal and colored them. The images are popped up on foam tape with some enamel dots finishing off the card.
I am very happy that I purchased the coordinating dies for both gal and especially the balloons. I'm sitting here pretty satisfied.
