Morgan's Challenge Start Now

This image is titled Giraffe with sad Eyes.  They are sad.  I really fell in love with this image at first sight.  I know it seems rather plain, but I printed out some images of live giraffes so I could color this in a realistic way.  I think I succeeded.  I did, however, not think about the rest of the giraffe's neck until I had it all matted and made into a card.  I think I could have completed the spots on down the neck, but I'm taking an artist's liberties and NOT giving this giraffe more spots.

Close-up below

I wanted to make sure the shading was dappled and that's just what I did - I dappled.

Supplies:
Morgan Fitzsimons' Giraffe With Sad Eyes

Copic markers GB000, E30, E31 and E37
Elizabeth Craft Designs Labels and Circles
Elizabeth Craft Designs Postage Stamp Squares
Vagabond die cut machine
Patterned paper panel under Giraffe panel
File Folder (dark brown) sponged with pumice stone
