I ended up with a baby card... I think

Second Post today.

I had the back side of a wonderful note card, all a medium pink with lighter images of pink flowers.  I know, sounds rather tooooo much PINK!  But it is quite lovely.  I stamped it with Hero Arts Newspaper Skyline (S5573).  Now, why I ever, EVER thought of stamping a pink card with this stamp, I don't know... out of my mind, maybe?  Well, I guess I was going to cut the buildings out (I often do) and use them individually, adding depth to cards.  But when I pulled it from my stamped stash, I just couldn't get over how much I loved it.  I popped it on top of a light medium blue note card, wrapped red and blue twines at the bottom of the panel and then discovered I needed something to cover the logo of the company that made the card.  Ok, I now have a BLUE CLOUD over the small spot and it looks like a BABY CARD!  LOL

I think it's kind of neat.  I still can't believe I put those colors together with a city skyline.  I am still chuckling.  I hope you like it, because I'm rather fond of it.

Not only it's neat, it is really soft and pretty! It's a wonderful switch up to have a flowery bg for the skyline stamp!! And thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog. hugs.

Hi Arlene,

I love this card! Maybe it's at sunset with that pretty pink colour. We get pink sunsets here in Oz sometimes usually tinged with a bit of orange. I love your card & thanks for promoting my blog candy as well. You are a treasure.
