A Lot More Tags

December at Die Cut Divas: Waffle Flower

The Theme is Christmas/Winter and be sure to use a die cut or embossing folder.

I had time for more tags and I made about 14 tags over the course of 3 days.  I used Illusions sprays on some and the page from a 2019 calendar that I was keeping for something special as well as a wonderful scene on a tissue box.  Yeah, I'm that person who says "I think I can use this in cardmaking".

All of my cards stacked up below:

Close-up of the top row of tags. Illusions sprays made the backgrounds of all tags below. The Tea Cup die (no longer available) was used on left tag with a combination of  Postage Collage Snowman Stencil Set cut up to make the rest of the tags.

Close-up of the bottom two rows of tags. Illusions sprays used only on top left tag. The beautiful pines & skies in the background tags in the bottom left are made from a tissue box.  The tags with the snow, berries, and bird are from a large calendar page (2019 date).  I used left over papers and whatever was handy to make these cards.

Supplies:
Waffle Flower Nesting Tags dies
Just about anything I could find that might make a tag, it was used from a tissue box (tags with trees & mountain background on bottom left of above tag display) and a calendar (right top 3 and bottom right sides of above tag display) to a Waffle Flower Snowman Stencil.

Stencil Work For the Holidays with Waffle Flower

December at Die Cut Divas: Waffle Flower

I'm showing some of the Stencil Work I did for the Holiday season.

The Theme is Christmas/Winter

The prize is a $15 code to go shopping at Waffle Flower.

There are four stencils to make this these images.  I had some mistakes, but I think I made the most of my mistakes.  I had printed an online picture of one of the cards on the Waffle Flower website to make sure I knew what each stencil panel was for and I am glad I did.  I'm listing all the distress oxide inks and the one distress ink I used to make this card.  I used all fun colors on the middle bottom panel.

I can see my house on the bottom left is a bit crooked and the birds on the right bottom could be better, but I'm ok with it.

2nd Card below

A December to Remember at Die Cut Divas

A  December To Remember at Die Cut Divas:
Waffle Flower stamps & dies are on display.

The Theme is Christmas/Winter

Just like me, so many card makers are getting those last minute holiday cards and tags ready.  I have really liked the Open Book die set and I used it once again.  I really like the way this turned out.  I thought the last of my paper stash background would look great behind this quite feminine open book die-cut, but when I added the dark green of a Nuvo Crystal Drops to the background card, I knew I made the right decision.  This is a sample for The Die Cut Divas.

The prize is a $15 code to go shopping at Waffle Flower

Supplies:
Waffle Flower Open Book die
Waffle Flower Essential Sentiments stamps & matching dies or the bundle

What would December be without The Creative Crafters?

The Creative  Crafters starts a monthly challenge every 15th of the month and I've made       as inspiration for this month.

This challenge is always "Anything Goes".
Be sure to join The Creative  Crafters challenge!

I made a large Tag with some wonderful gold paper.  These larger tags are great for a private note that's more than just a "TO" and "FROM" type of message. The gold paper is quite striking in Real Life.  I have used the die-cut image in October, but I'm still making those tags.

Supplies:
Supplies for tags:and card:
Brass and Bliss Bells and Garland stamps and matching die (Thank you to Linda for sending the die cuts)

December and Time for Morgan's ArtWorld

"Anything Goes" December 1st to December 27.

You can use any image or project you have posted in December to enter Morgan's ArtWorld challenge

For purchasing Morgan's ArtWorld Images, please visit the website at:
Morgan's Fitzsimons Art Studio

I'll be using Vintage Cameo 2 Greyscale for December.  With a Greyscale, you can actually get quicker results than with a regular digital of this image.  I was amazed at how quickly I colored her.  I always color the skin tones first, especially the face.  A face can go bac very quickly and if it does, it's almost impossible to save (I have saved a couple, but still).

I you see I used a Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die, I'm referring to the outside white edging surrounding the outside.  If you cut an 8 1/2 in X 11 in card stock just as you might for cutting 4 pieces to cover over an A2 card, then use the Postage Collage Die to cut out the collage, you have a wonderful edging to use on other cards, such as this one.

Supplies:
Morgan's Artworld
Vintage Cameo 2 Greyscale
Birch Press Lazy Hillside
Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die
Copic markers
Vagabond die cut machine

I'll be entering the following challenges:
NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff) - the Image (greyscale)
A Perfect Time to Craft - Anything Goes UNLimited (12-2025)

Last Day of November

November: Sponsor: Lawn Fawn with a prize of

a$25 gift card to their store. Be sure to enter your project by 9:00 p.m. Pacific time tonight.

Make a card with a critter and enter today before 9:00 p.m. Pacific time tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing your cards in the gallery.

I liked this card without anything on the bench, but wondered if I should put something on the bench and did. I still like them both.

This set has so many different sentiments that can be used with the other sentiments in so many different ways. I loved the statment I used above the singing mice - "Deck the Halls" "With Swiss" "And Cheddar". In my head I finish that sentiment with "fa la la la la la la la la". I hope to make more Holiday cards with these cuties as I stamped and die-cut at least 4 of each critter.

DO you LOVE those lamp posts? I do and the bows are part of the set.

Same card with a note on the bench.
The note on the bench says "Mice Carols".
WHICH one do you like best?

Sharing my Card from Last Week for Craft Roulette

I am very happy with the card I made for the Craft Roulette challenge on November 21st and here are the parameters below.

My card:
Project: A2 size card
Colors: Holiday red, green & gold
Element: Deer, houses & gondolas for the skiers going up to ski down
Random: My fancy paper is the gold background with stars

I was going to put Stickles on the stars, but found I didn't like it at all, so I smeared the stickles all over the golden sky.  I really like this scene - it's fun, bright and cheerful.  I colored all the little die cuts, except the trees and deer.

Holiday Cheer Stamps & dies

This challenge is always "Anything Goes".

I thought I would like this tree die, but guess what?  I LOVE this die.  So easy - only two dies and I just spread snow on top of the white layer.  (TRUE SNOW, that is). You could use glitter paper too.  This is the first time I've used the tree.  It's perfect for filling an A2 card size.

Playing with Lawn Fawn Critters

Die Cut Divas is having a Critters month at Die Cut Divas

with a $25 gift card to their store.

Everyone loves critters, so I'm thrilled to let a few critters enjoy their home. Lawn Fawn has so many cute critters to play with, so I'm having a play. It's Challenge Time at Die Cut Divas and it's all about Critters!
I wasn't sure if that background would work or not and it's been in my stash forever, at least it seems so. I kept going through my stamps and dies, finding bits I wanted to add to my little scene. I am quite satisfied with it and made it for someone special who's had to move away.
