Morgan's ArtWorld September Challenge

Ready, set, go.

No, it's not Halloween, but I've been eyeing this image for quite some time and it's NOW MINE.  I printed the image in different sizes so I could handle the paper, see the sizes and finally determine the size I would work with.  This is the largest size I printed.  I was looking through my stash for a window type die and came across a recent purchase, cut it and glued it to the front of my image so the skeletal image and stunning girl's eyes would show through the panes of "glass".  About 1/2 inch on each side of the block were left on each side of the panel window.  What to do...  I left it sit for 3 days on my desk so I could process whether to cut off the rest of the image or do something else Something Else" never materialized, so I cut all the extra paper off and I liked it.  A few more days on my desk led me to think about ECD papers, rummaged until I found the perfect background, added a tree and some sequins.  All of it is attached to a black folded card.

Challenge dates are September 1st to September 26th 
on Australian Eastern time (Sydney).  

You can use any image or project you have created and enter up to three (3) times.

I recently purchased the inner arch and wanted to use it, coupling it with the Spellbinders' large arch and a motorcyclist from Silhouette.  Not until I took the photo did I connect the RIP (Rest In Peace) above the motorcyclist.

While this is not a Cheapo Die, Cheapo Dies has similar dies such as unbranded cutting dies - Gothic Window or a lady pane.  Cheapo Dies has many dies that would make perfect silhouettes.  This post is on Die Cut Divas here.

New Challenge at World Wide Open Design Team Challenge Blog

I am so pleased to be one of the guest DTs for the World Wide Open Design Team challenge this month.  I chose the lovely image "He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe" to try to do justice to this wonderful scene.  

I wanted to try two different colors of flowers and followed my course from there.  The first card shows flowers in red tones and the second card is created with yellow flowers with an orange as a deeper tone.  I hope you are inspired and join in the challenge.

A2Z Constellation Duel

This card seemed to fly together.  After I printed the page out, I quickly die cut two of the images and snagged a piece of ribbon to add interest.  I also pulled a yellow card out of my pre-made card basket and that's all it took.  I thought "Hello" would cover most situations and made a nice guy card.

No coloring at all on this card.  As I said it just came together all by itself.
