Asian Motif ATCs

I was inspired by a wonderful Inkadinkadoo stamp set with a beautiful Asian woman with parasol to creat first one, then two ATCs. I really do like these. The wonderful Digital Design Kit by Hero Arts, "The Art of Style" has such wonderful designs and vintage women that I wanted to use an "old" map from the kit for my background - love old maps.

Though the map is of the Europian region, I thought some bamboo, flowers and birds might be able to hide the exact details of the map...

These are going to a friend in Asia who makes the most wonderful folded kimonos on her geishas. You may find tengds on Flickr with the most amazing creations!

Got to run... going to see a movie, "Clash of the Titans"....

March Madness

March has been a fast paced month for me. From visiting my mother to a re-alignment of programs at work, it's been hectic. I find that sitting down at my craft desk relieves a whole lot of stress. So I've bene busy and, if you didn't know, I'm dropping eggs over at the Hero Arts flickr group through March 23rd, 2010. I have three eggs a day and I started the morning early today. I got up around 1:00 a.m. my time to drop an egg, and do you know what? It was almost immediately gobbled up! There's a wonderful chance at a drawing.

You won't be disappointed with the wonderful cards you'll see in the Hero Arts Flickr group... I'm loving all the cards!

Linda, aka Oz posted the Hero Hostesses' cards on the Hero Arts (HA) blog today. Linda had the great idea of a theme and I couldn't believe I had a tree, much less a HA tree. It all seemed to just fall together as a design and the choice of stamps. Sometimes you've got it and sometimes you don't... I really like the way this turned out.

Sorry I haven't updated in ages... been STAMPING! And I am one of six wonderful people chosen as HA Hostesses. We are loving it. The gals are great and I am just stamping up a storm... Be sure to visit the HA Flickr group too................................

Happy New Year!

I have been enjoying family and friends. I've been using the new Hero Arts stamp set (CL381 - Sweet Wonderful You) that I gave my granddaughter, Angelina - yes, I CAN borrow it. I've been cutting them out and making ATCs for the most part. They are fun to color and I love using my new Copic markers. I received 7 as part of my Holiday gifts. YAY!... Angelina borrows my Copics to color her images... she likes the good stuff too.
