I got a new die and I think I'm going to love it
Following the Craft Roulette parameters, I made a a card.
Project: Interactive Card - Envelope Pop Up Card
Colors: Summer - pinks, greens, slowing down
Element: Here comes the bride - brocade pattern for dresses
Random: Ink edging - Edged the small tag
Here's the card:
I went for pastels and flowers with hearts. To me the whole card screams wedding, the hears, pattern paper reminiscent of brocade fabric for dresses, the notebook with lines for the sign in book at the reception, a tag on a present...
I couldn't believe how well this turned out, much prettier in person.
Supplies:
Pink and Main Envelope Pop Up Dies
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Glossy - Simply White
Distress Ink - Candied Apple (I used a sponge that was already inked
Vagabond die cut machine

How unique and pretty, Arlene! I can see that making these sweet cards could be addicting and useful for many occasions. I love all your elements! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the CR parameters, Arlene - love all the hearts and pretty papers!! Did you see that your card came up to be highlighted at Craft Roulette's In Revue last night? Very funn!!
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't. I went to the Music Circus yesterday. It's theatre in the round. It used to actually be under a big tent. It really is a fantastic area and way to stage a show. I saw "Young Frankenstein" and it was excellent.
DeleteI would love this die as well. I've never heard of one. It's really great. It would be fun to make a variety of these. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteI am loving your card & those papers are so pretty too. Thanks so much for playing along with The Paper Funday Challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! Thanks for joining us at Pattie’s Creations Design Challenge.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck,
